The following Core Services are fully supported by ETS:

  • Contacts
  • Groups
  • Drive
  • Hangouts Chat
  • Drive File Stream (available for download here)
  • Backup & Sync (not part of G Suite for Education Core Services but is currently supported and can be downloaded here)

If you encounter an issue with any of the above services, you can submit a Service Now ticket or call x5000.

There are additional services in the App Launcher that are available for your use, such as:

  • Docs
  • Sheets
  • Forms
  • Slides
  • Keep

*Although these additional services are not fully supported, we are committed to maintaining their integrity and accessibility at all times.

Google Classroom and Google Sites are not currently enabled on UCSB's G Suite instance. This status is regularly reviewed as these service offerings evolve.

G Suite Apps Marketplace is an online store for web applications that work with Google Apps.  It offers Connect G Suite users business applications that are integrated with G Suite, such as security, productivity, document management and project management tools.

You can access the Marketplace directly from your inbox when using the G Suite Web application.  Click the App Launcher, click More, and scroll to the bottom for More from the Apps Marketplace.

Use the sidebar to browse apps by category or you can use the search field at the top to search for a specific app.  If you see an app you’re interested in, click it to go to a description page where you can get app details, watch a demo video, see user reviews and ratings, and install the app.

Here are some examples within each category that are available from the Apps Marketplace:

*Customer support, documentation, and warranty information for the apps you acquire through the marketplace are supplied by the vendor. These apps are not supported by the Connect G Suite support team.  The support link for a Marketplace app is available on the details page for that app.
