    Google is investigating reports of an issue with Hangouts and Meet. The affected users are able to access Hangouts and Meet, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behavior.

    Some users might drop from on-going video calls or might be unable to join meetings.

  • Gmail redesign available 5/21/2018

    Gmail's "new look" will become an opt-in option for all Connect accounts on Monday, May 21st. Starting then, the new Gmail interface can be enabled by clicking on the "gear" icon near the upper right corner of your web browser and selecting “Try the new University of California, Santa Barbara Mail”.

  • Google Drive desktop sync client shutdown 5/12/2018

    The old Drive desktop sync client for Mac and PC—a feature officially known as “Google Drive for Mac/PC”—will start to shut down on May 12th, 2018.

    The issue involving receipt of email was resolved at 18:23. Email is now flowing properly.

  • Resolved - Google Email using Outlook

    Google has resolved the Outlook with GSSMO/GASMO issue. Re-start Outlook and your email will "send mail as" your default address. Losing your default signature was a product of this issue and has been resolved as well. Re-select your default signature(s). Contact the ETS Service Desk at x5000 if you are still experiencing difficulties.
