  • Address List Caching in Outlook (Status: Open | Reported 4/2014 | Last Updated 4/9/2014)
Problem: If you access a single account with more than one e-mail client you may experience non-delivery reports (NDR) stating "The recipient has been deleted or has no e-mail address."
Workaround: Microsoft recommends using identical versions of Outlook (down to the Service Pack and Hot Fix level), but even following this recommendation can lead to an NDR. If you experience an NDR while using Outlook the recommendation is to flush the auto-complete and/or Suggested Contacts lists.

  • SPAM is not being delivered to the Junk Email folder (Status: Open | Reported 4/2014 | Last Updated 4/18/2014)
Problem: Messages marked as spam should be delivered to the Junk Email folder, but instead are being delivered to the Inbox.
Workaround: You may need to toggle the "Automatically filter junk email" option in OWA by first turning it off, clicking save, and then turning it back on and clicking save.

  • Drafts are not usable across multiple clients (Status: Acknowledged Bug | Reported 4/10/2014 | Last Updated 4/10/2014)
Problem: Drafts initiated in Outlook on Windows must be completed using only Outlook on Windows. For instance, if you use Thunderbird at home to reply to a message, save it to Drafts, and then attempt to send it from Outlook at work, you will receive an NDR stating "This message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator.  Error is [0x80070005-00000000-00000000]."
Workaround: Finish draft message in the same client in which it was created.

  • Search is difficult to use and/or doesn't work (Status: Acknowledged Bug | Reported 4/2014 | Last Updated 4/21/2014)
Problem: The search in Office 365 (both in Outlook & OWA) requires using a specific syntax in order to properly find messages. In certain cases mailbox corruption leads to the inability to find messages even though they exist - only Microsoft can repair this functionality once it's been found.
Workaround: Report bug so we can relay to Microsoft to repair the account in question

  • Mac Mail folders are not refreshing (Status: Acknowledged Bug, ongoing | Reported 11/2013 | Last Updated 4/9/2014)
Problem: Both the Inbox and subfolders do not accurately represent contents of your mailbox. Messages may not have reply/forward flags and/or be outright missing. In some cases previously deleted messages will re-appear.
    Workaround: none

Workaround: Use a non-Mozilla browser, such as Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer.
